Mitch Dees graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Before graduation he had already bought and sold his first business for a profit and started another. He has been a serial entrepreneur and risk taker since grade school. Mitch's experience ranges from lending, real estate, restaurants, marketing, working for non-profits, and even playing professional poker for a couple years. Of all ventures he will tell you that his favorite so far is the restaurant industry.
Since opening his first restaurant Mitch has always recognized the “omni-important” role that marketing plays in the success of a restaurant and how that success is intertwined with the success of others in your business community. So, working in the business development and consulting departments for DineDesign has become a natural fit.
“The challenges that this industry presents are unlike any other I have experienced, but the rewards are commensurate with the struggle and fight. I love it.”
Stephanie Dees is the face to face energy behind DineDesign's public relations department. She especially has a heart for helping our clients give back to community in ways that not only benefit the restaurant but, most importantly, authentically make the city better. She sits on the board of the Mental Health Association, is deeply involved in Taste of Tulsa (Benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters), and chairs the restaurant committee for Project Hope Worldwide. We don't know how a mother of 3 does all that she does, but we are grateful for all she brings to the DineDesign team.
Stephanie's PR connections and strategies extend well beyond her involvement in non-profits, but they are certainly central to DineDesign's PR focus.
"It is so enjoyable for me to work with restaurants that understand the power of sincere generosity. Both for the benefit of the business and for the city. I have yet to find one client who regretted investing in this community - and I doubt I ever will."

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Maurie began her professional life as a sales trainer. Though she enjoyed the challenge of that industry, Maurie longed for a creative life where she could connect with others through writing and art. A life long gardener, Maurie's interest in design began to extend beyond indoor rooms into outdoor spaces. Raised by her grandmother, Maurie learned the joy of cooking and gardening from early childhood experiences. As her children, Nathan and Ellen, began their own lives, Maurie's interest in writing and art began to be a daily practice that she continues today. Her work has appeared in Oklahoma Gardener, TulsaFood, Edible Tulsa and TulsaVoice. She shows her art work at local art shows and boutiques and enjoys teaching others how to connect to their innate creative voice by cultivating a daily intention to create everyday.
"I believe the ability to create is within all of us in a myriad of ways and it is our responsibility to know and access that creative force to connect, create and collaborate with others and our community."
